Primary Active Storytime - Reading with Noises and Sounds. Farm Animal Story. KS1.
An active story time activity which is aimed at KS1 pupils.
**Instructions: **Inform your pupils that they will be participating in an interactive story reading activity. As you read the story, whenever they hear a specific animal mentioned, they should make the corresponding animal sound. If they wish, they can also act out the animal’s actions for added fun.
Included is a short story named: *Rosie’s Animal Friends. *
Extra cards are also included that can be cut out and laminated. These can be held up to remind the pupils what sound to make during the story.
You can also get pupils to Act It Out. They can also mimic the actions of the animals. For example: Flap your arms like the chickens pecking at the ground.
Comparing Unseen Poetry Answer Structure Power and Conflict GCSE English Literature
An A3 resource which will help students to begin to think about how to structure their answers and how to compare poems. Examples are provided and the success criteria is included on the sheet.

P2 Explains the marking criteria and what learners need to include in their writing in order to pass the assessment
There is a guide on how to correctly format the following: letters, emails, articles, reviews and reports. I have also provided picture examples on how each text should be formatted.
Learners are then given tips on how to ‘bulk out’ their writing by using word association. A practice exam question ‘scenario’ is given. It also includes a visual step by step guide on how to use word association to generate ideas.
